On 8th May 2024 a group from Exploring London 6 visited Jordan’s historic flour mill and heard the amazing story behind this 6th generation family and the events surrounding the last working flour mill in Bedfordshire.   
There was a morning guided tour as well as one in the afternoon depending on what time we wanted to get there! Either way, it gave us a chance to sample the delicious food in the riverside café.
Our guides Ross and Richard gave us a brilliant insight into the workings of the Victorian mill. Being able to see the technology and to hear about the complex process was absolutely fascinating.  The whole setting is delightful with a wonderful kitchen garden  and wildflower meadow. The Mill Shop had plenty of Jordan’s  products and more for sale!  We all had a great time.
